Tanjia Cuisine

Tanjia Cuisine was developed over a century ago by Tan Zongjun (hence the name of the cuisine), an official in late Qing dynasty. It enjoyed enormous reputation for its unique delicacy in the imperial capital soon after being introduced into restaurants and its popularity peaked in the 1930s, when the cuisine was fervently sought after by personages. Tanjia Cuisine features a moderate sweet and salt taste. We are proud to be the only hotel in Chongqing to offer this unique cuisine.
