Hotel history
Yangtze Island Hotel started to operate in 1998 and was rated as a three-star tourist hotel in Feb 2000. During the past nine years, it has accommodated a total number of 1.53 million guests with an average check-in rates of 92%. To meet the needs of the market and the development of the hotel, the hotel launched a 50 million yuan expansion project in 2006. As a result, the hotel’s total business area is enlarged from 12,000 square km to 23,000 square km, the outside wall of the building is coated with a layer of environment-friendly material, the mini widows are replaced by soundproof French windows, and two sightseeing elevators are built, making the building a new scene in the city. An overhaul of the facilities inside the building has also been completed.
